Hypocalcaemia and milk fever occur when cows do not remove enough calcium from their bones and the diet to meet the demand for calcium lost in milk.
Instead they draw the calcium from the muscles and nerves leading to muscle weakness or ‘downer cows’. This can occur at any stage during the lactation.
VISIT WEBSITEKnaprock is being used for construction of dairy lanes & silage pads or maintenance of existing dairy lanes
If laid at approximately 125 - 150mm thick & properly compacted this product will assist in the elimination of stone bruising. Your cows will walk the total width of the lane cutting down travel time between the paddocks & milking shed. This is significant advantage where long distances are involved.
